Photojournalist Nadav Neuhaus documented the lives of young women in Haiti who told him they had been raped in the aftermath of the 2010 earthquake. Conditions in the displacement camps have made women more vulnerable to sexual violence, an issue that hasn’t gone away.

Ron Haviv was one of the first photographers to land in Haiti after a massive earthquake devastated the region on January 12, 2010. He returned last month to document the situation two years later, using his iPhone to capture images of children living in shelters and on the streets.

Photographer Steven Taylor traveled to Haiti with actor-musician Common to learn about the plight of the Restavek children, where a traditional route to education has dissolved into forced labor. He says they both came away changed by the experience.
