Photograher Felipe Jacome set out to explore a Haitian society he had found to be more resilient, resourceful and self-reliant than was typically recognized. The result is a series of elegant and dignified portraits profiling some of the women working for KOFAVIV, a group offering support to survivors of rape and sexual violence.
